finding your files

The cloud is great and all but it creates a big problem.

It solves one problem. Dont need your machine. Only need a connection. Great. Connections are everywhere.

The problem: all these services are fragmented and specialized. My Windows File Explorer has all my data, period.

Images on flickr or Facebook or phone backup or Gplus or email, music in iCloud or iTunes or Spotify or did I bookmark it in Rhapsody, work docs on Dropbox or Box or Skydrive or one of five email accounts or whatever.

It is a problem.

And search centric aggregators are all that we have for now, like Cloudmagic or Cue.

Hmm.
