Working on a couple of investments recently. A big advantage is I know so
many of the relevant people. Five emails, answers back. Boom.
On one in particular, everyone is saying the same thing. I kind of feel
differently, but I can’t really disagree. The other guys have good points.
It’s just my conclusion is different.
I am wrong a lot. Can’t just “trust myself” — I mean they are wrong a lot
too but I asked them because they are right a lot.
Outcome?
Consensus.
Or…?
If you are a startup founder pitching your company — this is exactly the
thought process on the other side, very often. Which is why a
well-put-together, well-marketed set up can do so well: you get consensus
on your side.
