Did GM even try to make flying cars?

The replicants in Blade Runner are mostly biological, not digital, but a nice thought experiment about computational intelligence and companionship, identity, memory, and death.

But check out the super dope Tokyo they choose as the future. Virtually all of it happened.

Amazingly, GM did virtually no work on flying cars ever. Just a few demos.
