In the news, the good folks at Loyal announced they cleared a step with FDA which is awesome. (What really matters is the final step, the “go” sign, which they don’t have yet.)
However it’s one step closer to a pill for longevity that’s actually cleared by FDA…albeit for dogs. There are none with that label for humans, though some folks are trying to get a trial OK’d for that purpose, it’s not historically a matter that FDA entertains. “Aging” isn’t a disease to them; only specific diseases can be.
There are other super cool approaches in the works for dogs and cats (and people) — hope I can post more about those soon.
