Given changing US policy, here are some things that are possible:
Germany- aligns with China on trade and military arrangements.
France- warms to Russia. Opens visas and business.
Those two changes weakens the EU.
Japan- flips to start relations with China. And Korea.
Those three weaken the US position, for example:
– end dates on US bases in Germany and Japan and Korea
(Saves the US money? Expands the influence of others? And what if Russia and China put bases in those places?)
Here’s another vector:
Haiti- deal with Nigeria or Russia or France. Military bases 60 minutes from Florida.
Mexico- collab with China. Why not when the US is all negativity? Bases? Joint air command?
Just some ideas. But worth considering the opposite of the world order. Germany’s hard right is <50% of the vote right now – perhaps 30%? – what would it take for American policy to flip it?
