Adam Carver from Angel List gave a talk at Knotel recently:
Angel List placed 10,000 startup job candidates last year.
The Angel-side of Angel List is about signal. They have been tinkering with the model and the way it works now is: Angels can use the platform to create single-deal venture funds. Lots of small and large money is on the platform waiting for angels to come say “I’m leading this deal”. It’s not about founders pitching directly or investors funding go-anywhere multi-deal syndicates.
Both sound very promising.
