This is the first big riding week in NYC.
It has been a cold long winter I suppose.
But something new this year. I counted lots and lots of women on bikes the last couple of days. 6 out of 25ish Thursday among bikers I “rode with” on my way to work.
Lots Friday too — like 4?
It means New York’s bike movement is working.
