Reason to be an entrepreneur

Tl;dr is “don’t do it for the glamour; it is hard”.

He says “changing the world” is a good reason but it wonder if even Facebook counts as changing the world in a morally meaningful way.

But here is a very good one he misses: you like to do things.

At Amazon apparently there is a cult of “bias to action”. Hire people with a bias to action fight deliberation and meetings and deferrals. Find people who have proven they act.

Well startups are an amazing place for this. Make the feature, fire the person, do the deal, empty the trash. Then consider lunch.
