The argument for vitamin pills

You may take vitamins.

Or like me you may think it is BS because many studies have shown we easily get enough vitamins in our diet…to avoid *deficiency* illnesses.

Here is a newer argument that is very convincing
a) people are different
b) their needs for various vitamins vary
c) recommended allowances are based on averages and deficiency syndromes
d) higher performance and personalized biology likely require more of something

There is data to support each of these claims, which I read in the Kurzweil et al Fantastic Voyage book. Debate the data if you want.

But each claim is also just likely to be true prima facia.

Ideally you would get tested and find out what you need. But
e) excess vitamins mostly get excreted harmlessly

So why not take some?
