Haruki Murakami, the most annoying artist to take as inspiration

The writer is fabulous. So far have read Kafka On The Beach and now Men Without Women. The novel is magical and philosophical and meditative, and very teenage boy.

The latter is a compendium of winning short stories. Mysterious narrative structure, winking literary voice, and teenage boy utopia. Like a comic book.

But this frontispiece about his Adonis-like career and process is just so infuriating. I hate him.
