People working for tech companies wear hoodies and carry totes — AppNexus, Kickstarter, Bloomberg, Google, MongoDB, Gilt, 2U, etc.
All logos I have seen in the grocery store in Astoria or the crowd at Maker Faire or the subway or the street in LIC.
No more bank duffels or JP Morgan Fun Runs or law firm partner baseball caps. Seriously – none. I haven’t seen them in ages.
But deep into the middle class neighborhoods you see the tech hoodies.
NYC has changed.
