Which health system is best? A question prompted by McKinsey’s summit on global health in London

Any meeting you ever attend in the UK includes “the NHS sucks”. Maybe because the UK sucks, or maybe because single-payer sucks. Here’s the chart of market-based (yellow) and single-payer (blue) systems that I thought were relevant on the topic of “preventable mortality” (seems a good thing for a health system to optimize….)
